This is a charming and historic 4 bedroom, 1.5 bath, Italian Victorianate Townhouse in Hancock, one block up from Quincy Street and behind the post office, and Hancock's last brothel. Rent is $2400 a month, or $600 per tenant, an includes all utilities. The basement can serve as a huge storage area and has a walk-in storm entrance to make moving things in and out when it is not winter. The basement can be accessed within the house as well and has a coin-free washer and dryer. The kitchen has all appliances and a chalkboard with a portable dishwasher. All bedrooms except one have carpeting and there are wood floors throughout the house. There is a sizable yard with a deck with plenty of foliage to make it seem that you really are not living in the city while you may visit local establishments, such as Nutinis' Restaurant for the popular Thursday night trivia contest. There are two off-street parking spaces available and the landlord purchases two off-street parking passes (if needed) for the city's lot during the winter from November 1st to April 30th. The apartment comes with some furnishings, such as living room furniture. Pets are okay per landlord's approval since some dog breeds are not covered under the insurance, but some breeds, such as German Shepards, can be negotiated if the owner wants to meet with the landord's insurance agent for a supplemental pet policy. The landlord will allow cats and dogs for an extra $50 per month per 4 legged friend. Some other pets, like an iguana or rabbit, might be allowed, just check with the landlord. No fish tanks or turtles. Sorry, but my prior experience with allowing turtles was not good. No smoking or growing marijuana or vegetables in the basement with grow lights since that is expensive for the electricity that is included in the rent. If I have left out any information that you might find useful, then please contact me. And yes, I know that MTU has a community extension class for photography, then I should probably sign up for it. Thank you for your interest in my property! John
